Logic Lion was founded by a mom and her two young sons around their kitchen table. When they searched for books about logical fallacies, the only resources available were text-heavy and geared toward older readers. So, Jane, John, and Henry Petito set out to make the book series they couldn’t find. The result is Fallacy Hunters, a full-color graphic novel, textbook, and workbook in one, teaching kids 8+ to spot the tricks that make bad arguments sound convincing. Jane received her B.A. from Harvard College and has worked in the finance and fine art worlds. She currently homeschools her two boys, who inspire her to foster critical thinking and agency in childhood education. While not writing and editing for Logic Lion, John and Henry can be found reading books, wrestling one another, or beating their parents at chess.
